Not sure why people are being mean and not leaving honest reviews. The hotel is lovely especially considering their pricing structure if you want bespoke then this is a great hotel if you want run of the mill.same same then stay in a Travelodge, Premier Inn or similar. You are bang across the road from the River Avon, from the RSC and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. You cannot get all that and have 5* luxury for a really competitive pricing band that The Arden has. We stayed for our Wedding Anniversary and we took one of the packages, it was amazing from start to finish and we will be coming back. The staff couldn't be more attentive and the gardens are beautiful. It's even got back of the hotel parking, all this for the prices they have is extremely good value in my book and we are definitely coming back. Thank you to all the staff at The Arden you really made our stay wonderful 🥰❤

“Lovely stay, shame about car parking charge”

Have stayed here many times and enjoyed every minute, staff are all very friendly and helpful, this time was no exception. Have stayed here many times and enjoyed every minute, staff are all very friendly and helpful, this time was no exception. The room was spacious with a huge bath and shower, dinner was equally lovely, perfectly cooked and presented and the full English set us up the next day. The only disappointing factor is they now charge for parking at £10 per night, staying and eating here isn’t cheap and now they find it necessary to copy other hotels and add this money grabbing charge. Little things like this used to differentiate this hotel from others - might think twice next time I’m looking to stay in Stratford

I write this review in order to be helpful. The receptionist greeting seemed disinterested and cool. The bedroom allocated was small, smaller than our friends room even though we had booked the same category of room, our roller blind did not work when we needed to lower it my husband had to spend 10 minutes of his time to make it work, it was reported but still very difficult to use next day. Overall the room was very tired, the bed runner was marked with make-up, however other bedding was perfectly clean. Around the shower plate there was large amount of missing grout and chips in the bath, having to climb in and out of a very high bath was difficult, there was plenty of nice clean towels. Breakfast was good and the staff nice, we asked for orange juice the second morning and was told they had none. Fabulous location. Overall i would say it does not deserve a four Star rating and that is why I have only given three stars.
