In the Holiday Inn Express Warwick - Stratford-Upon-Avon, an IHG Hotel the food was good only bad thing was heating broke.But that was the only bad thing.very nice bed, very comfortable.also me and my family were put in close rooms so we could walk to and from each room

This is the best Holiday in extra I have ever stayed in. The hotel is big and modern and located in an ideal place for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon etc. The whole team here works well together and is attentive and welcoming. Abbie the manager is an excellent leader and excellent example of good Customer service. I also want to point out Gabbie who I observed making everyone feel special and when an elderly lady asked her to get her tea at breakfast, she did this with enthusiasm. I have been in other hotels that probably would have said you have to get your own. Will definitely return here as I want to visit the motorcycle museum which is also close by. Well done Abbie and the team.

From start to finish an enjoyable experience, check-in efficient must say Logan is an asset showed a genuine interest in our visit and gave good information and answered any questions. Room was well appointed clean and tidy, tea/ coffee making facilities, bathroom spotless and Dove toiletries supplied and if you have forgotten anything they are available from reception. Good selection of food for breakfast and food tasted fresh. There is a charge for car parking which is available at a discount from reception, there is a McDonald’s across the car park. Good location for the surrounding area Warwick only 10 mins and Leamington 20 mins. All in all a good stay and will definitely use again when in the area. All staff polite and friendly.

Check in was easy and the room was clean. Quite small with the sofa bed out but it was fine for our overnight stay. Staff were all polite and friendly. The two things that let the hotel down was parking and breakfast. We went out in the evening for dinner and, when we returned around 10pm, there was nowhere to park. We had already paid £5 for parking during our stay and had not been warned that parking was limited. We just managed to squeeze into a tiny space and had to park a little on a kerb. The whole issue was made worse by the fact the spaces are not marked (its gravel) so people had parked with huge gaps between cars. Breakfast - oh my goodness! I have stayed in many hotels over the years and, more recently lots of Holiday Inns on business, and I have never had such a terrible breakfast experience. We came down around 9.15am and there was a long queue and we waited maybe 10-15 mins for a table. The staff were excellent and polite throughout (and run off their feet - one of the staff members seating us was actually running through the restaurant trying to clear tables). Once we got seated, we queued for food. There was no cutlery, cups and bowls. We asked for bowls and cutlery which took a while to come out. Then we queued and queued. Got to the hot choices and, firstly, the choice was poor. No mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns etc. The only hot choices were scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and beans. I have no idea if anything else was available on request - it was too hectic to even think about! Anyway, we got to the hot food and there was no bacon or sausages, so I waited. And I waited! Finally sausages came but no bacon. I waited but the sausages were going quick as there were not very many so I got sausages and left the area. Some bacon did come out after but it took a while. I am unsure if this was an unusually busy day or if they were just understaffed to deal with the number of people in the hotel but I don’t think I would stay again (or if I did I would go for breakfast MUCH earlier!) The parking situation has also put me off from staying again which is a shame as it was perfectly located for our regular trips to Warwick castle.
