Stayed here due to a business trip. I have previously stayed here. On arrival I didn’t have to wait long to be checked in, which is also good after a long journey! Room was ok but one thing I can never work out in these room is the heating, it’s always either too hot or too cold, which is a bit of a pain. Room was ok, although there were some things I wasn’t happy about. The shower looked a bit worn there was a cracked tile and a chunk out of the shower tray. Dove body wash and shampoo was available which was a nice touch. On leaving and packing my bag I saw what I thought were splats of blood up the wall by the bathroom bin, which made me feel a bit sick and I’m glad I saw that at the end of my stay. Bed was comfy, although I didn’t find there to be a plug that was closer enough to the bed to charger my phone and the USB port was broken. Breakfast was ok, but not great. Coffee machine was best part of the breakfast. I ate dinner in hotel 2 nights, it’s typical hotel food which isn’t healthy and that’s something I wasn’t keen on. People travel for work more than ever and they should be able to get healthy meals.

Too many issues for just a one night stay. I must stress though - the staff were all extremely nice. First problem - the car park. Too many issues for just a one night stay. I must stress though - the staff were all extremely nice. First problem - the car park. I wasn’t told that I could have got 24 hours for £12 despite talking to reception about parking when I arrived. I therefore spent £22 with reception watching me pay on the screen in the lobby and at no point correcting me that I could have had a promo code. I only found out later via another guest. The room was freezing and the air con would only blow out cold air despite it being set to 30 degrees. I called reception who said they would send a heater to the room. After half an hour nothing so I called back. Eventually over an hour later the receptionist herself carried a radiator down to me. The pillows aren’t good. Too soft to just have one but too much to have two. Lastly I heard every word the next room were saying from their flight details, to holiday plans, to when they had set the alarm (3:30am - it went off on time. I heard that too) They weren’t speaking loudly, just normally. I’m not a noise sensitive person at all but the walls are paper thin. Breakfast is free so it met expectations, the room was extremely clean and again staff were pleasant. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again though.
