“Friendly staff in classy old hotel.”
Lovely, classy old hotel with the loveliest of staff. Friendly welcome on arrival and really nice bedroom. So quiet too. Everything that a business traveller could require. Meggs on reception was a star and a real asset to the brand. I stayed in room 120 which is lovely but it's worth mentioning ... more

“Welcoming & Professional”
We had a wake here for my partners mum. The staff were so helpful and made the already beautiful hotel look immaculate. Thank you Tom, Praneet, Miles and Paul. Looking forward to coming back in the near future! Room is lovely, breakfast fantastic and filled me up for the day.

“Worth a go”
The place albeit old is full of character, although it is a little tired now. Really good and helpful staff, nice little bar area and a lot of secure parking. Easy bus or drive into the city centre, and I will definitely use again in the not to distant future
