“The very pleasant "Pheasant"”
Although only staying for one night we really enjoyed the time there. From the moment we arrived, to our check out the next day everything was to our satisfaction and liking. “A little gem !!”
Every staff member took time to give us friendly smiles each time we saw them. Food and accommodation were spot on. They were interested in what we had planned for the day and gave tips on nearby places to visit. Would highly recommend, and hope to return at some point

“Short weekend break”
Extra large bed was inviting and very comfortable. The room temperature was warm and easily controlled. Ample beverage facility which was serviced daily. Adequate wardrobe and drawer space. “Very relaxing.”
This was the perfect base for our visit to the Kielder Observatory just up the road. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was very good, the accommodation was quiet and comfortable with views across the fields. All in all it was very relaxing.
