“A relaxing pleasant weekend”
We chose to stay here with friends for an event which was happening at Telford Golf Hotel and Spa. The rooms were lovely, the staff very friendly, the cooked breakfast gave a great start to the day. We had booked a meal for the Friday night which was superb and very filling. All together a wonder... more

“Great pub with excellent amenities and super staff”
Excellent well equipped room with many extras such as room fans and a fridge (not expected in a pub room).Ultra fluffy towels and toiletries were a bonus. Service was 1st class and all the staff we met were friendly, informative and efficient. Could not fault them Tasty meals served attractively.... more

“Good riverside value for money”
Really good service, nice food, great atmosphere, right on the river. Great both inside and out. Good pub food. Very pleasant welcome and service. Not too busy, but just right numbers. Reasonably priced.

“Well worth a visit, but gets very busy in Summer.”
Huge car park (essential given how busy they get in the Summer). Wonderful position with great views down to the river. Large interior and huge area outside. Nicely decorated. Friendly efficient staff. Food jolly good but 4* is a reasonable score. Prices reasonable. Will return.
