The service in the lounge is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a pleasant experience. The room is spotless, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment, while the hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, close to popular attractions and amenities.

This hotel ticks off almost all of the boxes for an airport hotel. Walking distance to (Gatwick's South) terminal? Check. Comfortable room? Check. Good food options? Check. This hotel ticks off almost all of the boxes for an airport hotel. Walking distance to (Gatwick's South) terminal? Check. Comfortable room? Check. Good food options? Check. Friendly and welcoming staff? Nice executive lounge? Check. But this hotel also did so many things that were above and beyond. My wife and I had arrived around 10am after a red-eye from the U.S. and were allowed early check-in. The executive lounge (for Hilton gold and diamond members, or guests paying for that level) is open by card-key 24 hours with coffee, some light snacks (e.g. fruit, salty snacks), along with the usual breakfast and evening offerings at the usual times. Our flight the next morning was very early, and they offered us "grab and go" breakfast bags which were ready as promised at 4am and were generously filled with fruit and snacks. Like I said - above and beyond. Perhaps my only nit is it would be nice to have a coffee maker of some sort in the room, but they only offer a kettle. But if transiting through Gatwick again, we'd always stay here.

“Short stay but excellent”

Swift check in nice and early. Star of the stay was Raji in the Garden restaurant. Energetic and full of joy. He knows what customer service means. Room was well appointed and a fault with the safe was rectified strait away. All in all good value

We stayed here for the convenience to the airport for our early morning flight the next day. Checkin was somewhat slow for no obvious reason. We then decided to treat our selves to dinner in the Garden restaurant. Our arrival co-incided with the arrival of 200 passengers who were staying there because of a cancelled flight. We were informed the buffet was for these people. Not a problem - we wanted the al a carte menu anyway. Our waiter Raji was super friendly and kind, attending to our food and drinks order quickly and giving us a bowl of crisps while we waited. Our starter then arrived. We both had ordered the Chicken Speciality salad. What was special about it it seems is that it contained no chicken. We called Raji over, he apologised profusely, returned the dishes to the chicken and in due course they arrived back, this time with chicken included. My main then arrived, Prawn and Salmon curry with accompanying rice etc. As I tucked in, it dawned on me that there was no salmon to be found!!. With some hesitation, I brought this to Raji’s attention. He was clearly embarrassed at the situation and offered various options to resolve it. Raji is one in a million , he remained cheerful and helpful throughout and the Hilton are very lucky to have him on their staff. The kitchen staff however need a stern talking to. Don’t advertise items to be in dishes and then present them without the item in please. I don’t think it unreasonable to expect a chicken salad to contain chicken and a prawn and salmon curry to contain salmon!. As an aside, the lady sitting on a nearby table also appeared to be complaining that the dish she was presented with wasn’t what she ordered.
