“Amazing property - loud bar parties”

We had an excellent, but brief stay at this property. All of the staff we encountered were kind, professional and extremely helpful. The family room with bunkbeds was a great highlight as well as the breakfast and dinner. We had wonderful, attentive service at dinner and breakfast - we did notice that at lunch time they are understaffed and you may have 30+ minutes of not seeing anyone. The only bad part of the experience was that our family with young children, who reserved a "family room" were placed literally right above the bar which was having loud music until midnight. The music from the bar was so loud in our room that sleep was not an option. If we had been informed at check-in, it would not have been such a problem. Truly the room was vibrating from the bass (+1 for great sound system in the bar I guess....) - and my children could not sleep. Upon calling reception we learned that the party was scheduled to continue until midnight - and they acknowledged that the music is loud in our room. The only options we had were to either pack and relocate to another room that was less than what we had paid for (with no adjustment to the rate), or wait for the party to end. We chose to stay in the room since the amount of time to pack and relocate would be the same 2 hours spent waiting for the party to end. For such a considerate and thoughtful property it is surprising that they built the family rooms above the loudest section, but it is otherwise a wonderful place, and we hope to return soon.

“Very nice nowhere...”

I looked for spesific location in order to get meeting on time next day. I completley inderstood that this hotel is in the middle of nowere... But beutiful one. Well equioed clean room. Nice lobby. Already decorated with winter style pieces. Nice resturant.

“Poor bar and restaurant service”

Restaurant & Bar staff would benefit from more customer service training , poor attention to guests needs, however they were pleasant enough. Not enough people on duty . Evening meal very over seasoned too salty, also lacking from attention.Barman more interested in using his phone than serving gue… more

“ENJOYED OUR SECOND STAY BUT……..”

We stayed here for our second time this year, we use it for flights out of Gatwick, and parking at the hotel. The hotel was inviting, with the Christmas tree looking lovely. We stayed here for our second time this year, we use it for flights out of Gatwick, and parking at the hotel. The hotel was inviting, with the Christmas tree looking lovely. Our room looked as if it had been recently refurbished, with a comfy bed. The simple reason I’ve only given a 3 star, is because the same thing happened on this visit , as it did do back in March! They have major issues with bar staff. There’s no one manning it, and you have to go to the reception for service. We also ate in the restaurant, we were the only ones in. Once we got our main course we were totally ignored, no clearing the plates away, no offer of dessert or coffee, and they add 10% service charge!…..WHAT!! Basically they had a large party in another room, so all the interest was on them. More staff training required at this venue Radisson.
