Great location for this historic hotel. It is a bit quirky and not the ritz but it has charm and the staff is great. I love how this hotel is actually quite big, but with the atmosphere of a small hotel where you're being seen. “Perfectly Adequate for the price.”
This is an old coaching hotel. It is a little dated and in need of a refurbishment. That said, it has lovely staff. The rooms are basic but clean. The breakfast was very tasty and freshly cooked, although buffet style. Perfectly adequate and more than acceptable considering the price.
