New lunch menu enjoyed today. I had Langoustines, lovely large ones locally caught, the salad with them was really tasty and not just a bit of a garnish which is unusual, lovely dressing too which is often missing. New lunch menu enjoyed today. I had Langoustines, lovely large ones locally caught, the salad with them was really tasty and not just a bit of a garnish which is unusual, lovely dressing too which is often missing. My husband had the Seafood Chowder which he thoroughly enjoyed, it was a good bowl of delicious fish. We shared hand cut chips which were also delicious. When can we go again :)

“Beautiful hotel and location!”

We really loved this place, it was a gorgeous hotel at a lovely location. The food is excellent, and the service is great. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and quick/eager to help. We really loved this place, it was a gorgeous hotel at a lovely location. The food is excellent, and the service is great. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and quick/eager to help. The rooms are lovely and the bar/lounge is a nice space. I just wish I'd had time to explore the spa a bit! It's a pricey place, but an absolutely lovely stay. Definitely recommend going to Armadale castle just down the road as well if you stay here, and taking the ferry either to/from the area.

Duisdale House Hotel, nestled in a stunning location on the Isle of Skye, boasts breathtaking views that create a serene and picturesque setting. The food was exceptional, with each meal offering exquisite flavors and presentations that were delightful. The waiting staff, particularly Savannah, Elijah, Nathan, and Brittany, were outstanding, providing attentive and warm service that enhanced our dining experience. Our room was also immaculate, thanks to the housekeeping team who ensured everything was perfect and promptly addressed any requests, contributing significantly to the comfort of our stay. Unfortunately, our overall experience was let down by the receptionist, who also seemed to be managing the restaurant. Her rude and dismissive attitude, coupled with providing incorrect information about dinner arrangements and blaming her colleagues for it, was unprofessional and disappointing. Despite celebrating our engagement, we were denied a table change from one next to a very vocal child, dampening the mood. Additionally, our drinks arrived late with the perplexing explanation that the bartender usually worked in the back of the house. This suggested a lack of adequate staffing or poor management practices. With improved management and better coordination, this hotel could easily elevate its guest experience to match its picturesque surroundings. We hope to return and see these changes in place, allowing us to fully enjoy what could be a top-tier destination.
