Although the hotel isn’t quite finished, our rooms were lovely, the beds big and comfy and the bedding was superb quality. The showers were really good with lovey big soft towels. We ate in and the dinner menu was very good, the wine I felt was a bit pricey but the coffee and cocktails were all of a good price. Definitely recommend a stay here, very helpful staff and a fun time was had

“The best Roast (in my opinion) in Salisbury and a fair price.”

The food was delicious. My roast lamb was so tender. I haven’t has lamb this good since I visited NewZealand. The staff were charming and very accommodating. There was 6 of us in our party plus a 1yrs old baby who was a bit fussy and not her usual cheerful self…nobody blinked an eye. We all had the best time. I highly recommend the Milford hall hotel especially for Sunday roast. Considering the quality and quantity of the food the price was right.

We chose the Milford Hall Hotel to host a Masonic Lodge Ladies Festival. This was an event that spanned a Friday evening with 2 course buffet meal and entertainment , followed by a Saturday evening charity gala including a delicious 5 course meal, charity raffle and entertainment. 50 guests were in attendance. The Hotel itself has recently undergone a refurbishment. The public spaces are beautifully decorated; clean and airy. The bedrooms are absolutely gorgeous with large, comfortable beds and stunning bathrooms with large showers that many guests were delighted with. The housekeeping is exceptional, ensuring the rooms were completely spotless. Breakfast was served to us, buffet style, with a hot cooked breakfast offering (bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, toast, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans) plus fruit salad, yoghurts, pastries, cereal and juices. There was something for everyone. The staff are the jewel in this hotel’s crown. I was struck by the warmth and friendliness of each member of staff. In my case, I had no doubt that every member of staff cared about the event and worked so hard to make it a huge success for us. In addition each member of the management team made an effort to seek me out and introduce themselves to me, building that trust and relationship with me as a customer. I would highly recommend holding an event here. You would be in the wonderfully safe, capable hands of Amanda (Events Manager & amazingly calm person !); Paul (GM); Manuel (Ops Mgr & Pina Colada extraordinaire); Toni (Food &Beverage Mgr); Eddie (Duty Mgr) and their incredible staff including Callum, Caitlin, Mel, Angie and many others whose names I didn’t catch. THANK YOU, Milford Hall team, for ensuring our guests had the very best time and for your care, your warmth and for your hard, hard work throughout the weekend.

“Check the heating is working before booking”

We chose this hotel for its great location close to the historical centre with the bonus of leaving your car here all day at no extra cost. Staff lovely, bed comfortable and great showers. It was unfortunate that there was no heating in either the bedroom or bathroom, it made staying in our room for any length of time quite uncomfortable. Staff kindly provided a portable heater, but so small as to make very little difference. Still we thought, great, a coffee machine. Again a disappointment as the pods were the type which included powdered milk, and undrinkable. Such a shame as the management had obviously gone to the trouble to supply one, but with little thought given to the actual coffee. The rooms are in the block attached to the attractive looking main house pictured. Everything was clean and fairly new. My views have obviously been impacted by the heating issues which hopefully have been sorted by now. Had the heating worked I would have given a higher rating and hope to return one day to a nice warm cosy room.
