This lovely bed and breakfast is hosted by Cheryl and Sue who were very caring and considerate when I stayed here this month. Our room was spacious in quiet part of the city close to all amenities. Although, at the time, our room had a slight problem following days of torrential rain Cheryl was honest, apologetic and very up front in immediately pointing this out. When, later in our break, my son was feeling poorly, we were given good advice and offered help if needed. Would definitely return here.

“Easy post ferry stop over”

Excellent hosts managed to accommodate even our most random whims. I travelled with my mother & sister & we can be ‘special’ at the best of times! 🤷🏼‍♀️ We were late arriving due to the ferry times but had let them know. My sister, who has mobility problems anyway & can’t walk unaided due to her sight, had managed to break her foot to add to our woes & was being dragged along like a clunky, unsteady mountain goat in her boot! We were lucky and found an on street parking space (£2 overnight) almost outside. Although we had been assured that ‘something’ could be sorted if not due to our particularly difficult (recently acquired) circumstances. The house and room were cosy & homely. I slept like a log! The bathroom on the family room is en-suite. Toiletries provided. Due to the system of preordering breakfast we got exactly what we wanted (my sister doesn’t eat egg, I don’t eat tomatoes or black pudding, Mum doesn’t eat beans.... it’s a bit like a mad hatters tea party if we get standard breakfasts!!). My sister drinks green tea with milk (YUK!) and MUST have black pudding (one of us is also on the autistic spectrum so these things become VERY important!). All these weird requests were easily taken care of (even the offer of white pudding - that’d throw her!). The choice at breakfast was very good. Cereal, fresh fruit & yoghurt, etc. (Nice sausages - very important!). Tea, coffee & toast were topped up without having to ask. (We like that a lot!). All in all, a very friendly welcome with chatty & interesting hosts. I will certainly happily stay again.

“Only overnight stay”

Unfortunately because of our busy itinerary we were only able to stay one night. Our room was lovely with great attention to little details. Unfortunately because of our busy itinerary we were only able to stay one night. Our room was lovely with great attention to little details. We were lucky enough to be given a room with a small separate area with a couch and TV. The breakfast had so much choice with cereals, fruit and full English. Location was excellent. Walked in one direction for a meal then in the other direction for the Plymouth Hoe. Parked on the street and had to pay but travelling for 7 weeks in the UK we realized private parking was a rare occurrence. One night is certainly not long enough for Plymouth. We hope to be back.

“A nice little B&B !! ”

Very central, 2 minute walk from the Hoe & close to barbican & shops. Nice little B&B, exactly what you would expect. Very central, 2 minute walk from the Hoe & close to barbican & shops. Nice little B&B, exactly what you would expect. Room (we had no 4) was lovely with a super king bed & separate little living room with sofa bed. Small en-suite, nicely decorated & clean & tidy. Breakfast was lovely & nicely cooked however it was a bit too early between 8-9am and again check out was just a bit too early @ 10am. We were reminded just before 10am about check out as they were waiting to clean the room so felt a bit rushed to leave. The hotel owner was really friendly & helpful overall a nice place to stay.
