“Cracking place”
Very pleasant place. Top food and top staff the service was amazing and so too the food the landlord and landlady where very nice and welcoming and nothing was too much to ask. The pub was very tidy and very nicely decorated with a great atmosphere. Also the pub is in a beautiful little village.

“Lovely landlady”
Fantastic pub and great accommodation. Lovely food and excellent breakfast. Plenty of parking. Excellent atmosphere and the landlady Jo, was so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much bother for her xx We would definitely stay again xx

We stumbled across Ye Olde Red Lion, on our trip home and stopped in for lunch. It was a Monday and it was really busy, but the landlady found us a table. “A good place for a short stay”
We stayed here on our way down to Southampton to catch a cruise ship. Our room was very nice and spotlessly clean. I had to go outside to get a WiFi connection. I didn't realise that Sunday night has a limited menu in the restaurant. Only pizza available and no pudding. It was nice but would h… more
