“Lovely place”

Stayed here the night to go to a festival. Quick check in.room was lovely. Pretty quiet night .friendly staff. Breakfast good.would definitely stay here again. It's a bit tucked out the way . Did the job

Friendly warm welcome, Great food of excellent quality, good portion size and reasonably price. Service was good and friendly. Would eat there again and highly recommend. Probably worth booking as inside restaurant is not that big.

My partner had booked here for a 2 night stay for my birthday as we were going to do a hot air balloon ride locally. We had a fantastic stay! My partner wanted to sort balloons/decs in the room before I arrived which he had arranged with family members. The host was able to accommodate that and let the family members check in for us. We were also asked if we wanted to upgrade to a bigger room but we had a room with a patio which suited us so we kept our room. The room was very clean and really cosy! We slept so so well, didn’t want to wake up in the mornings! The bed was very comfortable and we had a relaxing stay. The area is very quiet even as a local pub we didn’t hear any noise from the pub. The breakfast was great! Really tasty and lots of options with cereals, yoghurts & fruit and of course a full English and option for a veggie full English! I cannot fault the host. Couldn’t have done more for us. So welcoming and really friendly, lovely lady! (So sorry I didn’t get your name). One of the evenings we went out and there was a local tractor festival and they do a pub crawl. The host rang our room to see if we wanted to have a look etc but we were out for dinner. I thought this was a really nice gesture so we could take in some local atmosphere. We would definitely visit again!

“wow we got more than we expected”

We were attending a family event in the area and needed somewhere to stay. We found this local inn, just a 20 min walk from where we needed to be. We were attending a family event in the area and needed somewhere to stay. We found this local inn, just a 20 min walk from where we needed to be. We just expected your standard basic hotel type room, but wow we got more than we expected. Upon checking in we were upgrade to the best room, the champagne suite. This room had a super king size bed, a massive walking shower and a separate bathroom with dual sinks. There was the usual complementary coffee, tea and water in the room. Later in our stay, we needed more milk, so we asked and were kindly given fresh milk in a jug. We left for the family event and returned later, we fancied a quick drink in the bar where we sampled some polish vodka, the staff even went as far as chilling the glass. In the morning we had a smashing breakfast, my wife wanted the potatoes from the vegetarian breakfast, so we asked, and it was not a problem, they were worth asking for they was delicious. We enjoyed our brief stay, for what we wanted it ticked all the boxes, it was clean, the staff were very helpful, great breakfast, we would certainly stay here again.
