Just got back from a lovely stay at Heythrop Park. From start to finish the team there were fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They really seemed to enjoy their work and chat with the guests. Our standard room was, all be it not huge, certainly adequate for our 5 night stay. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a patio room which would have been lovely if the sun had shone long enough for us to sit out. The only thing I would say there was the door was very heavy and we could only get it to stay open with a chair. Everything you needed to make your stay comfortable including fluffy robes! And on to the food. Excellent. We had pre booked our restaurants so was able to eat in all. We never had to wait to be seated and the service was great. The brassiere was the highlight. We ate 1 breakfast and then our evening meal there. Service was exceptional. The food in all restaurants was varied, and very tasty with theme nights, carvery and choices off the menu. Plenty of places to be seated in bars and lounge areas. The entertainment was very good especially the ventriloquist and the McCartney songbook. Again plenty of seats and waiter service for drinks. Everybody worked hard and made sure you were having a good time. Highly recommend

Beautiful house and grounds. Excellent check in, very friendly staff (with exception of Brassey bar where service was grumpy). We had a standard room. It was slightly small but comfortable. Beautiful house and grounds. Excellent check in, very friendly staff (with exception of Brassey bar where service was grumpy). We had a standard room. It was slightly small but comfortable. Good fridge, good shower; excellent TV, hairdryer, socket points, and great biscuits. Bed very comfortable. Downside of room, glazing was blown, window was small, curtain did not quite block light. Breakfasts good but coffee was awful. If you order espresso ( costs extra) waiter has to walk long way to another bar to order, wait and walk back. This needs rethinking - restaurant needs a coffee machine. Our waiter ( Lucas? sounded like that/ from Poland, was excellent). Evening meals were better than expected (menu starter and dessert, buffet for main). We could only get one booking in Brasserie and that was excellent, food at a different level but less good service . Wine is overpriced. Drinks are higher prices than you might expect. Activities - We enjoyed the rifle range ( excellent instructor), and the archery. We played bowls and croquet. We also picked up a map and did the route around the grounds ( in the rain 😂). Entertainment- Annie Lennox experience excellent, ditto McCartney songbook. Third night Call me ( 70s to 90 s music) was lively but let down by out of key singing. This was our first experience of Warner. We were meeting up with friends so this was a central location for all of us. We would definitely go again.

“Relaxing visit”

Lovely two-night stay including a fun archery session, very relaxing spa treatments and an informative gin tasting with Brandon. Great views in and around the grounds which add to the experience. Staff very helpful whenever we needed them and we were made to feel at home right away.

We paid extra to stay in a mansion room. However there were a number of maintenance problems with the room and despite numerous approaches to the reception staff these were never satisfactorily dealt with. The food was of an excellent standard but we consider that wine was overpriced. The evening entertainment was all very good. We enjoyed taking part in the activities, archery and rifle shooting. We also took part in axe throwing where the instructor Sebastian was very helpful. We have visited warners hotels in the past and will do so in the future.
