“Perfect for our family!”
Absolutely lovely hotel, had a gorgeous room overlooking the harbour, where we could watch the ferry coming and going over to Mull. “Terrific Value and a great nights sleep”
I chose the hotel as a stop over before taking the ferry. I was made to feel welcome and the hotel has a nice bar. I was pleasantly suprised to get a room with Bath which after a long drive meant I could have a soak. I paid for breakfast which was nice and fresh with great croissants. This hotel ... more

“Small and Peaceful”
This seeminly out-of-the-way hotel is actually only 300 meters from the center of town. The bed was super comfortable. My only complaint is that the walls were quite thin, so you can hear other guests coming and going, especially late at night after a few drinks.

“The Kelvin's location makes it ideal for ferry and train connections.”
Very close to ferry terminal and train station which were the prime considerations for our booking. “A Weekend in Oban.”
It was clean but small and the mattress was very uncomfortable and is needing replaced,the shelf over the sink needs re-sited as when you bend down to use the tap you bang your head .This review relates to room 12. Great location in the centre of town . Cosy wee bar but a bit pricey.
