“Lovely”
Excellent all round, only stayed one night so didn't need to use any of the facilities, only the facilities in the room, didn't dine there, stayed in the lake View Lodge, beautiful scenery even though it's not great weather

“Relaxing stay ner Newbury”
Quiet hotel in extensive grounds on outskirts of Newbury. Staff were excellent. Large bedroom and bathroom. Good walking in grounds and nearby. Good food in restaurant, reasonably priced. Half hour drive to Basildon Park National Trust property

“Bargain Break Great Food”
Grabbed a last min TravelZoo deal here & has a wonderful relax Restaurant food & breakfast were delicious Lots of space & great local area for walks & pubs Property is characterful & was overall clean just a little worn in places & odd bit of cobweb & dusty windows at height

As soon as you drive into the grounds you're blown away that this picturesque and tranquil spot is just a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of society.
