“Central location, good hotel”
Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would like to take the opportunity to mention the fantastic service and friendliness of Herson, who served at the bar on the evenings of 27th/28th January and also his supervisor who was present on 28th.

“See you next year!!”
Came down for New years with the missus. Check in was a breeze! The staff were welcoming, friendly and highly informative, giving me any details about good places to visit during the festive period. They made sure my stay was comfortable. Lovely warm visit!!!

“The cold”
Room and staff were good no complaints there. BUT the Bar and Restaurant were cold, I took to wearing a heavy jumper to breakfast, further the plates on which you put breakfast were stone cold !!! What’s the point of putting hot food on cold plates so as to get back to the table with cooled food. F… more
Room and staff were good no complaints there. BUT the Bar and Restaurant were cold, I took to wearing a heavy jumper to breakfast, further the plates on which you put breakfast were stone cold !!! What’s the point of putting hot food on cold plates so as to get back to the table with cooled food. Finally the staff at breakfast were good but one thing was wrong the clear away station (piles of plates bowls cutlery etc.) was in the food service area as was the bin for discarded food.

Please note that you will be charged premium rate if you call to amend your booking (due to illness in our case) and you will be charged a £10 fee even if the room is a lot cheaper.
