Lovely hotel if a little tired for the room price. The shower/bath set up in the room could do with a bit of a makeover perhaps walk in shower rather than a tired bath with a shower curtain. They said Dog Friendly and they certainly were, everyone went out of their way to make things as easy as possible you eat in the lovely area overlooking the front away from the restaurant and you just pop down and get your own breakfast from the downstairs. All the staff were lovely and very efficient. The pool area was very nice, we were allowed to leave the dogs in our room whilst we went for a swim. Overall a lovely weekend.

Recently stayed here on a Monday to Friday Coach Break at the Inn on the Prom. The room was fine though toilet fittings were a bit dated, plumbing of the washbasins taps were the opposite way round, cold should ALWAYS be on the right basic plumbing rule. Recently stayed here on a Monday to Friday Coach Break at the Inn on the Prom. The room was fine though toilet fittings were a bit dated, plumbing of the washbasins taps were the opposite way round, cold should ALWAYS be on the right basic plumbing rule. Squeaky floorboards in the room above and in the toilet was an issue. The room however was spotless and housekeeping staff were excellent. The social areas within the hotel were clean and tidy and the bar staff were attentive. Breakfast was good with a good selection including porridge, though lumpy on a few days, no pastries though. Dinner was; well a challenge. Being part of a Coach party we had to be seated by 6pm, instantly you were asked for your desired starter, mains and dessert. The choice was okay, some nights better than others, the Vegetable Wellington was spoiled with a tomato flavoured sauce splurged over it. There was a choice of 3 items for each course, with a vegetarian option for each course. The portion sizes were however fairly small, soup barely covered the bottom of the plate and pretty tasteless. A few times before the dessert was served staff were asking and pouring either tea or coffee, I really felt as though they wanted us in and out as quick as possible. One evening one of the coach party timed the full meal at 33 minutes. I felt other guests, not on a coach party were given more time to dine and even different menus. There was entertainment on the Tuesday and Thursday evenings and both singers were excellent. The Coach company was excellent with a couple of day excursions and a run through the Blackpool Illuminations.

“Overpriced”

Pricy for what we got. Just stayed 2 nights in a family room and although clean enough and location good we didn't feel it was worthy of £200 a night. Pricy for what we got. Just stayed 2 nights in a family room and although clean enough and location good we didn't feel it was worthy of £200 a night. The walls and carpets are dirty throughout the corridors. The pool and changing rooms are in desperate need of a refurbishment. Breakfast was average. Wouldn't stay here again
