We had an early morning flight so decided to stay here the night before. Usual basic room but clean and a lovely gleaming bathroom. Check in was easy and quick and info provided. Receptionist asked where he’d parked and he explained it was too far away for us to walk so was why we didn’t use the designated car park ( where you can park free ) as it was a good distance away esp with cases. She promptly reimbursed him. That was a nice kind touch. We spent some time in lounge area before bed having several drinks - expensive as these places are - it was however a nice start to our journey with pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. The airport departures are literally just across from the front of the hotel. Two minutes to walk over ( if that!) and we’d dropped our cases off the night before ( Jet2 twilight drop off) so were able to literally cross the road and go straight through to security. A great start to our holiday!

“Check your bank statements!”

We stayed here for one night as had an early morning flight, hotel great, rooms clean and comfortable, only had a continental breakfast as checking out early for our flight. We had booked this along with car parking through Holiday extras and this had been booked and paid for weeks in advance. Wh... more

We stayed here for one night as had an early morning flight, hotel great, rooms clean and comfortable, only had a continental breakfast as checking out early for our flight. We had booked this along with car parking through Holiday extras and this had been booked and paid for weeks in advance. When we checked in we were asked for a £50.00 security deposit and provided them with our card details, we purchased a round of drinks and were advised this would be taken from the £50.00 deposit which was fine. Our friends who we were travelling with checked in 2 hours after us and they too paid the £50.00 deposit and also purchased a round of drinks. When we arrived at our holiday destination our friend was alerted that an amount of money had been taken from his account which was much more than the cost of the round of drinks, he phoned them and was told it was a mistake as Holiday Extras hadn’t paid them and immediately agreed to refund the money which was done 2 days later. We returned home and checked my bank account and unbelievably £124.00 had been taken from my account… I called them and was immediately advised it was a mistake and the money was refunded into my account within the hour. I find it strange that 2 separate parties checked in 2 hours apart and the same “mistake” happened to both parties. How many times has this same “mistake” happened??? Ensure you check your bank balance if you use this hotel
