Despite being far from the city centre, we decided to book this hotel because of the price. It was a very nice surprise. The hotel itself is already an attraction, because it is decorated with a Art Deco style, and it is well maintained! The building was once an airport, so there is a controller tower and an open space with some real airplanes from that time, with which you can take pictures. The bedroom is quite large, with two king size beds, and the bathroom is also large. The problem here is that the shower is not high, I'm 1.90m tall and it reaches right above my neck! It also floods the bathroom a little. The bedroom is not very acoustic isolated, in the sense that it was possible to hear people from the adjacent bedrooms chating. There is a swimming pool which I have not used. I did not eat there also. The staff was lovely all the time we needed it. The hotel is close to the airport, and a 30min by bus to the city centre, with a stop right in front of the hotel. There is also a shopping centre in front of the hotel with some food options, including a supermarket. I loved the experience, and would definitely stay there again.

“Large rooms, great value, friendly staff”

On arrival, staff were friendly and welcoming which was a great first impression. We booked two rooms and both were clean and spacious. On arrival, staff were friendly and welcoming which was a great first impression. We booked two rooms and both were clean and spacious. The air con did not work but someone came to our room and explained it was broken so they ensured we had a fan instead. We sat in the club lounge for breakfast but there was no one there and when we called down to reception, they explained there was an issue and they resolved this for us. Overall we would stay here again as it was good value.

Pros and cons Lovely staff in bar restaurant. Rooms spacious and clean Food nice and decent price. Stayed night before we flew three rooms. Two rooms one side of reception and one room the other We got up early to go to reception for the taxi and discovered kebab meat and salad all over the corridor floor. Surely Night Porter would have seen this. Met up with the rest of our party from the other two rooms and discovered they had had to call reception a number of times during the night due to people who were having a party in their room . They had no sleep at all as the party was still going on at 4 am. Someone from reception did knock on their door and asked them to turn down but they just carried on. My son asked them to turn down and other guests banged on their door. Absolutely disgusting they should have been asked to leave . When we went to reception the night ported said he would go and sort it but then just carried on what ever work he was doing on reception and did not go deal with the rowdy group. Such a shame that the staff did not enforce any kind of rules that spoilt the night for a lot of guests
