This is a budget hotel rooms are cheap you get what you pay for yes it is run down and decorate outdated and yes carpets are filled up with duck tape but it all part of the hotel have stayed here six times on all floors and one floor one carpet does smell there 580 rooms very busy when functions on peak season very busy yes sometimes do have to wait when hotel is busy at curtain times of year to get booked in what you expect they are humans not machines off peak not busy rooms are what you expect for price of rooms yes sometimes carpets are stained and yes curtains old and stained the rooms are cleaned but due to age of hotel and what described it can appear to look shabby what makes up for it is the staff they very jolly happy people when not rushed off there feet busy times very helpful and accomodating but in busy times does take a while to sort out room problems it does get done eventually off peak very quick expect something not always right in room just be niceand it gets sorted entertainment not brilliant but on bad weather something to do at 45pounds a night and thirty-five pounds week rate and Sundays you can't grumble it cheap enough to buy own bingo pens don't have kids not anything them do here observation swimming pool if a bit older small arcade room with pool table shut locked up another bar sports shut and locked up bring own shampoo soap as only small dispensery over bath if you want luxury premiercins standards this hotek would not be for you but if you want what paid for it down to earth guests great and staff fab it like benedorm blackpool when busy best to book direct with hotel and check when got when got functiojs dancing competions as you cant move we love it here food lovely this time stayed but do chop and change chefs and can have seconds very cheap for starter seconds pudding and beverages no ltmit good selection breakfast from feyuo fruit cereals eat as much as like

Decided to stay at the Norbreck Castle Hotel whilst working in Blackpool as I was intrigued by the many poor reviews of the Hotel on YouTube and TikTok. I got a great deal on Agoda for £35, which included breakfast. Yes the hotel is dated, but I've stayed in many hotels in Blackpool and the majority of them are all similar. Reception staff were great on arrival and I was allocated a room within the main part of the hotel. Room was an adequate size and as per my request I was allocated a room with a double bed. I couldn't really find any fault with the cleanliness of the room, and the bed and tables looked fairly new. If you are using their car park, please note that there is a £3 charge per day. Whilst the hotel is quite a distance from Central Blackpool, the Norbreck Tram Station is right outside the hotel and I had a pleasant journey looking at the illuminations that evening on the tram. The only downside of the hotel is lack of free WiFi, this appeared to be at a cost, so I used my available data on my phone during my stay. Due to the age of the hotel the floorboards made a bit of noise when walking around your room, and you could hear similar noise from the room above when the guests were walking around. Breakfast, albeit served at 8:00am, which is a bit late in my opinion was great. Good variety of fresh 'buffet' style food available. Would I stay here again, more than likely if I get a similar deal on one of the hotel websites. It's probably not worth £75 - £100 per night, but for £35 it met all my requirements for the brief stay in Blackpool.

Visited Norbreck Castle Hotel for a Computer Conference in Oct. We were delighted to have a clean refurbished room and bathroom. Visited Norbreck Castle Hotel for a Computer Conference in Oct. We were delighted to have a clean refurbished room and bathroom. The staff were very good, but a bit short on staff to help e.g. the reception. Very tasty breakfast. Somewhat bemused to see children galloping, running around and cartwheeling around the bar very late at night. We asked to rent the room for an additional hour but would be charged £10. The hotel is described as having a "fun and vibrant environment" which it certainly was when we looked out of our bedroom window to inspect the roof ! (see image). The adult toy had been there a few days before our visit, but staff quickly removed it (room 164).
