Great value hotel, we booked a triple room for two nights during half term. Upon arrival staff were lovely. We arrived early but couldn’t check in early which is understandable due to it being half term. My daughter has special needs so it really helps getting the room early as that is what she’s expecting, otherwise her behaviour is difficult to manage. The staff did get us in about three quarters hour early so that was appreciated. Everything you needed was in the hotel, nice pool, jacuzzi. The sauna was freezing so probably not worth using. A nice restaurant, great breakfast included and the food at the restaurant in the evening was lovely. They were doing the dine out festival so had a nice set menu. My daughter is a slightly picky eater but managed to find food for her taste. Our triple room was good size and had a sea view with a separate area for the third bed which provided some privacy. It was quite busy along the front as it is a main road around the island. I found it really noisy with constant traffic which causes me to have issues sleeping. Also I had one night where the guest next door was speaking really loudly in Indian over the phone until 2330hrs. I had to knock at his room to ask him to be quiet as the walls are so thin, it was like he was in the room. Also there was a pub opposite and partygoers were really loud until 2300hrs. It was Halloween so was expected. The location is great, the lido is down the road. There is a beautiful coastal path with some lovely cafes and local restaurants. A short walk to st Helier. Buses stop right outside the hotel with regular buses every 15 mins to st Helier or Gorey pier, paid approximately £5.50 for single tickets, two adults and a child. It would be nice if the restaurant did coffee/lunch at the hotel but plenty locally to choose from. Good egg along the front was beautiful and we caught the nice weather. All in all, definitely stay at this hotel again, I felt like I saw a new side of jersey that I love. The service was good, staff impeccable like most hotels in Jersey. Our room was nice but needed a lick of paint, same in the hallways, communal area, as it was chipped, also stained carpets. Be aware towards November a lot of the island starts closing down after the season but we still managed to do everything we wanted.

Lovely, clean hotel and situated across the road from the beach. Staff are very friendly/helpful and the food we ordered was really good. The buffet menu was nice, only criticism would be the buffet could have been replenished more as it was starting to go dry. Breakfast selection was great and always hot. Would stay here again, no question.

“Lovely room, eventually!”

We didn't like the first room we walked into. Well, the room was okay (92) but the view was dire and the noise outside from large fans was terrible. I could never have slept through that noise. After speaking with reception, they offered another room, (15), this was 'dungeon' like. We did not like this one.. ugh. Eventually reception staff handed us key to room 34. Bliss! Large room overlooking front, corner window, a further window, a small balcony, bath with shower over. All quite oldish, but huge comfy bed, super king size.. I was now happy!

“Budget hotel - mixed feelings”

We stayed as a family of three. We were first allocated room 14 which was awful overlooking the kitchen room with noisy extractor fans and cooking smells. We were then offered another room which wasn’t great either before being given room 2. This was ok save for the noisy workman renovating a room opposite. Positives were the staff are lovely, it’s in a great location and the bed was comfortable.
