“Great value for money.”

Not my first visit to the Palace Casino. Myself and a group of friends often visit this time of year to explore the islands green lanes on our dirt bikes and find this is the best value place to stay for what is on offer. Not my first visit to the Palace Casino. Myself and a group of friends often visit this time of year to explore the islands green lanes on our dirt bikes and find this is the best value place to stay for what is on offer. Room a little tired but very clean. Great deal on half board with excellent meals at dinner and breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of off street parking. Rooms with Seaviews, on site cinema, health club, and casino, plus two bars to choose from.

After returning to the Palace hotel, we have returned with mixed thoughts about the hotel. After returning to the Palace hotel, we have returned with mixed thoughts about the hotel. On the positive side, as usual the majority of the staff were helpful and efficient, good leisure facilities, over all this hotel has most of what you want from a hotel with a cinema, restaurant, good quality food, a casino as well as a brand new cocktail bar called "lookies" Our recent stay to the hotel proved to be more negative to previous visits over the past couple of years. Our room was clean and relatively cosy but very run down and in desperate need of a revamp. Our hotel room door didn't fully shut when left to close leaving the room open, litter left on the roof of the hotel just outside the balcony. The hotel has a new cocktail bar which is a lively place to have a drink especially over the weekend with good atmosphere and music. Our biggest negative point about the hotel is the closure of the Paragon Hotel bar. Not sure what the management were thinking, but there is nowhere for hotel guests to relax in a more formal bar especially over the weekend and enjoy a relaxed quiet drink and chat. Over all this hotel is good value for money in a good location, just run down and desperately requires a makeover.
