“Return trip to Inverness”
This was a return trip to Inverness. We decided to stay with SYHA - what a great place to stay! Helpful staff, comfy beds, well equipped self cater kitchen. Yes it's a little bit of a walk from the middle of Inverness, but a very comfortable stay.

“Clean, simple hostel near town”
This is a good, clean hostel with many amenities. Free towels. We walked through the neighbourhood above to get into town and it was beautiful. Quaint houses and gardens. “Great basic accommodation”
Clean and comfortable accomodation that I’d expect from a hostel. Staff were welcoming and helpful, good kitchen facilities, various areas to hang out quietly, breakfast spread is good, shower pressure and temperature good. A pleasant stay.

“Cheap but a little bit uncomfortable”
A cheap hostel not quite near the city center. Requires walking up a hill. The staff is nice and helpful. There is a really large kitchen with a fridge, cooking equipment etc. Unfortunately our room wasn't as comfortable as we hoped for. One of the two beds had a rather thin mattress which lead to … more
