Our visit to the restaurant has never failed,food is always delicious,pork belly to start then shin of beef just fell apart,the staff are fantastic prompt and attentive all ways a favourite for Sunday dinner , and a lovely apple crumble to finish

Visited the hotel yesterday, for family lunch as birthday treat for my 91 year old mother, the dining room was lovely decorated, Charlie the waiter was friendly made us welcome. The service was great, excellent choice of menu, food was delicious and well presented. Will definitely visit again.

Pros: Polite friendly staff. Incredible food. 3 courses for £20. Walk-in, powerful shower. Great location. Cons: Our room (74) was quite small and tired looking. Needs decorating and vinyl replacing on outside of door less wardrobe. No view from window, just a concrete wall. No comfy seating area… more

“Did the job”
Comfortable nights sleep on a very small bed, only one bedside table. Very basic but did the job. Very busy in the restaurant so food must be good but are elsewhere as they were booked up. Plenty of choice for breakfast, all the what you would expect.

Hotel looks fine from outside, good location for town centre.
