“Perfect location for Pride!”

We spent two nights in a Superior King room for Pride, and the location is absolutely unbeatable. A three-minute Tube ride from Paddington on the new Elizabeth line to Tottenham Court Road and then another three minutes to walk to the hotel,.. couldn’t be easier. Despite being surrounded by blocks of surging street party after Pride, the hotel was absolutely quiet and peaceful. We were on the ground floor (room 12) and never heard a single sound from outside! Our room had many accessibility features we didn’t need, but it was great to see how well-kitted-out it would be for someone who did, particularly the bathroom. Honestly, all of central London is so easily accessible to you from here, and you’re surrounded by Soho and super close to Covent Garden, you’re really spoiled for choice when it comes to food, entertainment and nightlife, even when Pride is in full swing. Our sole issue, not even enough to remove a star, was that the room was warm and the windows don’t open… not normally an issue in London, but it was one of the warmest days of the year. The front deak provided an oscillating fan when we asked, though, so we were able to sleep quite comfortably (and without hearing noise from outside, as noted!). Thank you for a great stay.

“Unbeatable location, excellent service”

My daughter (16) and I recently stayed at the Resident Soho for three nights. We had an excellent stay. Location: The hotel sits at the end of a tiny street, which makes it as secluded as it could be in such a lively locale. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find pubs, kebabs, fish and chips, pizza, a lovely little park, and a tube station. Soho itself is gorgeous and so much fun. Although we could hear people walking, talking and even singing outside, it wasn't loud enough to affect our sleep at all. Amenities: The lobby is cute and they serve free wine every night at 6. There is no restaurant on site, but this is London - no shortage of food options anywhere. I believe you could order drinks from the hotel though, as they had a drinks menu in the room. The room had everything you'd need, such as iron, hairdryer and all of that, plus a very comprehensive kitchenette within sliding closet doors. This had a fridge, microwave, plates, glasses and cutlery, kettle for tea and Nespresso. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Service: Excellent and thoughtful. From the hand-written card to the ever-pleasant employees at the front desk, the service was impeccable. We had some trouble figuring out how to turn the hot water on in the shower (there is a child lock), and the manager came upstairs himself to demonstrate how everything worked and while he was there, to explain everything else in the room. We would definitely be happy to stay here again next time we're in London!
