The Montcalm Hotel exceeded my expectations with its impeccable service and luxurious amenities. During my stay, I had the pleasure of interacting with Camelia, the manager on duty, who went above and beyond to address my concerns regarding the spa services structure. I expressed my dissatisfaction regarding the spa only offering 30 minutes complementary use of the spa facilities. I explained this is unusual for such a prestigious hotel. Camelia was kind to explain the structure and encouraged me to return. I would have given a rating of 3/5 but her helpfulness and support truly enhanced my experience, making it a memorable stay at The Montcalm.

Stayed for two nights and let's start with the negative, the hotel itself is under refurbishment and is closed, and the sign to say where to go is not obvious, if it was on the front door of the hotel it would be helpful. The sign, which is waterlogged and smudged, says go to a hotel opposite at number 31. Unfortunately, number 31 looks like a house and does not have any hotel sign on outside. Now, for the good news, once you go through this door, a hidden gem is revealed. This hotel is excellent, reception is very friendly, and rooms all are to a superior standard. All rooms have great WiFi and amenities to a high standard with fresh fruit in the room. I only used the breakfast service due to other commitments. Breakfast was really wonderful with great and very good service. All in all, I look forward to a return visit.

Excellent location. Main hotel being refurbed so stayed in sister hotel opposite. No sign to make this obvious just looks like a house. Arrived early and room ready which was a bonus. Has pre-paid for breakfast as assumed would start at 6-30am like every other hotel but it was 7am so had to ski… more

Excellent location. Main hotel being refurbed so stayed in sister hotel opposite. No sign to make this obvious just looks like a house. Arrived early and room ready which was a bonus. Has pre-paid for breakfast as assumed would start at 6-30am like every other hotel but it was 7am so had to skip due to early start. Room clean with everything you need but very small and no double glazing so noisy. Water,tea and coffee and high end toiletries (Elemis) were restocked during stay which was a nice touch. Short walk from Oxford street. Looking forward to getting back into the main hotel after the refurb which will be a step up.
