“Very nice typical hotel in London”
I was in this hotel in may 2023 just few days before coronation. So the atmosphere was very British and decorations were super nice. First of all nicest restaurant staff - ever! Baya, Khan, Abdu, Nirnan - thank you for making our stay so welcoming. The service was excellent and compliments to the chef. We had afternoon tea all over London, and this one was the best for the price and delicious. The beds here are super comfortable. The cleaning staff is a wonderful job with the rooms. The location is excellent. You’re one block from Oxford Street 10 minutes from the underground. Small comments : the music in the morning at the restaurant needs to be checked. We are not in a disco at 8 AM! Also, if shared newspapers could be offered, beyond the evening standard, it would be appreciated. Definitely coming back.

I was very dissatisfied . I have happily been staying at the Leonard for many years but unfortunately my recent stay was not at all satisfactory. I was very dissatisfied . I have happily been staying at the Leonard for many years but unfortunately my recent stay was not at all satisfactory. I had stayed there in July and returned in August when I requested a 1st floor room and one with a walk in shower. This was ignored - my room was up 4 flights of stairs , the shower was in the bath and most of the time the lift was not working . It didn't get repaired while I was there. It was a very uncomfortable stay and the staff didn't apologise for the inconvenience . Not recommended now
