Have just spent three nights here when visiting London with my mum. Location is absolutely perfect for the attractions. Check-in / check out was quick and efficient, and Nalin who checked us in was friendly and made us feel welcome at the hotel. Our room was clean with twin beds that were comfortable. The lounge with tea/coffee available is great. There are water stations and ice machines on each floor with recycled bottles available for you to fill. We had breakfast on one morning, which was disappointing, so we didn't bother again. The food was cold, we had to ask for cups, there was no orange juice and coffee machine had broken so had to wait for this. For the price you pay for breakfast I wouldn't bother. We had a drink in the bar in the evening and service was great with a lovely area upstairs for you to sit if you don't want to sit in the bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.

Location of the Grand is great for main London attractions and our room was spacious and clean. Window could be opened too for air ( to have a window sometimes in London is a big ask!) Staff are friendly and helpful and the bar area and lounge where free tea and coffee are available are very comfortable. We didn’t eat breakfast so cannot comment on that. The only downside was our room was near the lifts so we could hear them operating at night which was a shame as otherwise the room was very quiet, even though we could see Big Ben! Bed was large and comfortable. We returned one night hoping to have a drink in the bar ( about 9.40 pm) but were informed we had missed last orders which is quite early? There’s a pub across the road if needed! We’d definitely stay here again as it offers very good value for London and staff are great- Thankyou!

Stayed at this hotel with a friend for a girls’ theatre trip. The location was perfect. Walked to almost all theatres. The National Portrait Gallery, National Gallery and St. Martin in the Fields were a short walk a way. Also walked to Westminster Abbey, Covent Garden, the Southbank. Our twin room on the 8th floor was a good size for London. We could see the London Eye from our window. Room was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Appreciated the filtered water stations and refillable bottles on each floor and the Club Room with comfortable seating, tables, and computer stations with coffee and tea. Did not have the breakfast (was 38 pounds I think) but instead went to the nearby Pret for breakfast. Would recommend.
