An amazing entrance and reception area, I was greeted by Kay, who made me feel like I belonged there, this made the welcoming even more warming, this is the first time I have been to this hotel, I then revealed that I was also an employee of the group from a different part of the country, to which the greeting became more family orientated, and remained just as happy to see me. Great first experience as an employee or not, can't wait to return!!!!

“Amazing stay!”

Honestly had such a nice stay! Huge rooms which are kept clean. The bed was comfort. The location is so good! There is a train station down the road and bus stops every few feet. There is an Iceland/ McDonald’s/ KFC/ multiple other shops on the doorstep. It has free parking out front and an NPC car park which is £19 for 24 hour parking. There is also a bar joined onto the hotel. Breakfast was really nice - £11 each so a bit overpriced but overall great. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

Felt compelled to write a review here as they seem to get such a mixed bag & I wanted to share the good and the bad from my experience. I was pretty apprehensive about staying here, I'd booked & then looked at the reviews - never a good idea, especially as a woman travelling alone, but in all honesty I was pleasantly surprised. The reception area is lovely; very welcoming & I found the staff to be attentive and friendly. Some of the corridors are a bit gloomy but the room I stayed in was superb; spacious, very clean with complimentary water & snacks & a kind note from the reception team. Shower was good; powerful and hot (only complaint here there was no shower gel) Bed was very comfy. Good quality tea & coffee, again, complimentary. Hair dryer and ironing board provided - I found the rooms very satisfactory, in fact, I was impressed. Now for the downsides; I stayed for two nights, the first night there was quite a lot of noise at 4/5am from other guests in the corridor - now I am not blaming the hotel for this but it was my experience, second night though, no problem. I didn't like the bar, I found it very dark, empty and soulless, the Marie Celeste of Bar & Grills - needs some love and life in my opinion. The biggest downside for me was the area itself - it's just not very nice, and I didn't feel particularly safe BUT I got an Uber to Camden for under a tenner... So, essentially, I would definitely stay here again, I think it's great value for money, just don't expect anything from the surrounding area and use it as a base to explore nicer parts of London!
