I visited The Cadogan three times throughout Autumn/Winter 2024. The first was as part of a trip on the British Pullman and it made the occasion even more spectacular, with a spacious room, beautiful bath and a fantastic in room breakfast. The second time I visited, was for a brief one night stay with my partner when we'd booked another hotel, but the bed was so uncomfortable we weren't actually able to sleep in it and it provided a great place to lay our head for the night. On our third trip we had planned a long weekend down with our dog. Our dog Ralph was treated like a prince from the moment he walked through the door with homemade dog treats and beef tartare in the restaurant (he better not become accustomed to this sort of service, as he won't be getting it at home!). The concierge team were fantastic at finding us dog friendly restaurants and showing us the garden in which we could walk him. It was turning out to be a delightful trip. Unfortunately on the Saturday evening (third night of the stay) my mum was very suddenly from being a well woman taken immediately into end of life in Newcastle, and I needed to get there very rapidly. Apologies for what is potentially an overshare but below is an email we sent to the team at The Cadogan, sometimes it's how people can help when things go drastically wrong that can make all the difference and The Cadogan massively stepped up for us on this occasion. I also must add, we'd been at the rugby in Twickenham drinking the majority of the day, so trauma + alcohol, I have no doubt meant we were difficult to deal with! I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the immense support, both practical and emotional, your team provided during a recent stay with yourselves (9th November). During our trip to London, my Mother suffered a sudden and fatal catastrophic stroke whilst herself on a weekend away in Northumbria. Upon receiving this terrible news your team were of great help. We would like to mention the restaurant/ bar manager, sommelier and front of house team, and pass on our Thanks. They were really caring, genuine and empathetic. Not just focused on the practicalities (getting us to Newcastle) but caring for us as people also. Jamie in the Concierge team was lovely with my partner throughout the following week, and incredibly patient when Daniel cried every time he spoke to him and was able to swiftly send our left-over clothes and possessions back. Housekeeping also packed everything up for us so well. Whilst not a member of staff, the driver who transported us to Northumbria was a great help, not just for taking us but again giving us the privacy we needed, taking the dog and getting us there as soon as he could, and returning the phone we left in the car. I have no doubt that we were not easy to deal with during a busy Saturday night, I apologise that this email has taken me so long to write, but I have immense gratitude for the kindness we received that evening. I hope we will be welcomed back in future, for hopefully what will be a much less dramatic stay!

We spent 24/25 NYE and had the opportunity to see the beautiful Xmas decoration of the hotel as well as of the Sloane street. The staff is unbelievable warm and always trying to bring the best experience to the guests . We had the opportunity to meet the concierge who was always trying to get the best place for the most wanted restaurants in London. The dinner at The LaLee was very special. Waiters , hostess and the kitchen team treats you like a friend . Very warm and the food was exquisite . Definitely the hotel has the best location walking distance from most of the iconic museums , restaurants , shopping or parks. We love running and getting to Hyde park was a less than 5 minutes jogging. Perfect room size with everything we needed to have a comfort stay in London. The doormen and bell boys always very kind and looking to help the guests . We felt like home.
