Everything was very clean, with the room cleaned daily and the sheets and towels smelling amazing (the towels were changed every day). The heating worked very well (adjustable), and they served a pretty complete typical English breakfast. We arrived almost at midnight, and there was a man (night porter) waiting for us at reception with our key. It’s a 5-minute walk to a Zone 1 (central zone) subway station (Gloucester Road). The neighborhood is pleasant and very safe. Our room was small, but that’s something they inform you about, and it’s clear from the photos. I think for sleeping and resting, you don’t need more than that. It’s perfect.

“Great family hotel.”
My family and I stayed in this beautiful hotel for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beds are comfortable, the staff are friendly and informative, and the location is quite well situated for day trips around the London area. I would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was working very well!!! The location was very good; close to the bus stop and underground station, with many shops and food places nearby on Gloucester road.

Firstly I would like to express this is a budget hotel in an affluent area of London. We had a fabulous experience here and it’s all down to the hard working super friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. The history regarding this building is such a wonderful tale. Our room was clean and cosy. Beds were ok. Breakfast was plentiful. They go the extra mile offering use of the kitchen for making hot drinks, fridge and microwave 24 hours a day. Even after we checked out and left our bags we could still use the facilities before we headed home. Keep up the good work!
