“Good hotel in a good location”

I picked this hotel because I needed a reasonably price hotel that was accessible to the London Underground, and had lots to offer around it. I picked this hotel because I needed a reasonably price hotel that was accessible to the London Underground, and had lots to offer around it. It is near the Tottenham Court Underground Station and Bedford Gardens Square. Both of them are very short walks from the hotel. I have tried several bars and restaurants nearby which I like including the Murder, Inc. and East Street by Tampopo Fitzrovia. The elevators can get backed up especially when there is a group staying at the hotel. There are retail shops nearby in case you need to buy something you forgot to pack. The rooms are not very big. There is not much room around the bed, a desk, a shower in the room, and a TV.

“Great location”

Love this hotel, the location is superb. I’ve stayed a few times, the rooms are small, especially the single rooms, but they are clean and comfortable I only wish they had a self serve laundry, rather than laundry service, as you cannot get laundry done over a weekend or public holiday. I’ve stayed a few times, the rooms are small, especially the single rooms, but they are clean and comfortable I only wish they had a self serve laundry, rather than laundry service, as you cannot get laundry done over a weekend or public holiday. “4th visit at St Giles”

This is our 4th visit to this hotel. This is a "go to" hotel whenever we visit London for a few nights. The price is good, the location is excellent and the hotel is exactly what we want. This is our 4th visit to this hotel. This is a "go to" hotel whenever we visit London for a few nights. The price is good, the location is excellent and the hotel is exactly what we want. The bar is such a nice place to finish the night off with a drink aswell. The room that we were given this time was much smaller than what we have had in our previous stays, but it was ok for a few nights. We didn't have curtains in the room, we had blinds which didn't close completely so this did not keep out the sunlight in the morning. However, it was still comfortable and clean. The hotel is definitely due some kind of upgrade, especially the room that we had this time.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road tube station, and the room rate I paid was lower than at other central location options I’d looked at. Check-in was straightforward, with friendly reception staff. Our twin room was fairly basic but actually better than I’d expected, and it was clean. The beds themselves were fairly comfortable but the pillows were very flat and we both woke up with stiff necks the next day. We were up on the sixth floor. The only down side of that was that the lifts were very slow. It took ages for lifts to arrive - then they were often full so we had to wait for another - when it was time to check out (and we didn’t leave it to the last minute to check out either) The floor itself was huge and like a labyrinth - it was easy to get lost and there was only minimal signage to help you navigate your way around. We both wear earplugs at night, so I’m not sure how meaningful this is but, even so - I was not aware of any noise from outside (we were high up), corridors or other rooms during the night. The next morning (a Saturday) there was loud drilling noise. I noticed this sometime after 9am. We were already awake so it didn’t wake us up. If we had wanted a later lie in, we would have been disappointed on that front. Even though we were already awake, it still wasn’t a very relaxing start to a Saturday morning! We don’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t comment on that. The big plus of this hotel is its central location and the fact that it was cheaper than surrounding options I’d looked at. For the right price, I would stay here again.
