We stayed six nights, for a mixture of business and leisure, in this absolutely fabulous hotel, which is walking distance from many of the main sights. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and every member of the staff we encountered was wonderful. Dinner in Wild Honey at St James, their Michelin starred restaurant, was awesome! Special mention must be given to Augustina, who checked us in with great friendliness and politeness, for her special attention to detail and for making us feel so welcome and special - thank you! We definitely plan to stay here again!

Superior and superb in all facets. We enjoyed a delightful stay in a well appointed room with all necessary requirements met brilliantly. All of the staff, at all , levels were efficient,helpful ,polite and most welcoming. The newly configured restaurant was a great improvement and enhanced the stay. We have stayed on previous occaisions but the new set up and the new menu from the superb new chef made the visit this time even more enjoyable.

Stayed 4 nights, and obviously it is beautiful and in an incredible location, but the thing that really stood out to us were the people, Violetta, Georgina (I think that was her name--tea room), both Tatianas, the servers in the bar and bistro, the incredible spa staff, the amazing housekeeping staff and supervisor on floor 3, and more made our stay so special, and made us feel so at home (if we lived in the most luxurious mansion). Amazing stay at beautiful Sofitel at Waterloo Place. The location is so convenient. Steps from St James Park, Piccadilly, Art Museum, Buckingham Palace and right around the corner from Phantom of the Opera West End. Comfortable room, feathered bed, water, snacks included. Splurge for the hotel breakfast, great way to start the day. Most of all, service from door, to front desk, concierge, wait staff and housekeeping all superb.

This was my first time ever in London and we stayed at The Sofitel St James. What a beautiful hotel so grand and beautiful. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. They gave us a tour of our hotel and received complimentary champagne and sparkling tea. Of course I told them its my birthday so I can collect on my perks in the UK. So far lots of treats on the plane, hotel gifted me drinks, a time capsule box, scented candle exclusively made by the hotel, $50 credit to use on my stay, every day breakfast (not provided by hotel but a package I got from booking my stay) and everyday use of private sauna and jacuzzi for 30 mins. We were given a tour by Christina. And our bags were brought up by Bramian. He was sweet. Our room was small but comfy. It was decorated with royal blues and had checker floors. It even had a heated towel rack, soaking tub, and shower combo. I didn't want to pack any bath bombs because of space, but i did pack bubbles bath products, which i will definitely use tonight. Overall stay was comfy and I did enjoy the breakfast spread. The location was perfect and in the heart of shopping district. I would definately stay here again.
