“Great hotel. Fabulous staff”

I was staying in this hotel with elderly relatives while attending a tennis tournament as fans. The hotel accommodation was great as was the food but what really made it special was the staff who were so kind, friendly and helpful.

My sister and I stayed here this weekend as we were seeing Taylor Swift at Wembley. The hotel provided us with everything we needed. My sister and I stayed here this weekend as we were seeing Taylor Swift at Wembley. The hotel provided us with everything we needed. Our room was great, clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful! My only small complaint is that the family rooms are all situated at the front of the hotel and it’s on a very busy road, so you do get a lot of road all noise all day and night and didn’t sleep as well as I had hoped to, but didn’t ruin our stay. Breakfast was great and plenty to choose from! The hotel is located 5 mins walk from Earl’s Court station and lots of supermarkets nearby and 15 min walk to Kensington high street too.

Positives: Room was quiet and good in size. Staff were friendly Negatives: Hotel does not have any baby changing facilities in public toilets. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. People waiting ages just for plates. I had to order food due to an allergen, this took 25 minutes to arrive, and half of the items were missing. When they did arrive it was 10-15 minutes later, and after I had ate the items already given to me. No apology given, urgency and no partial refund offered.

We arrived at 11:50 a.m. and offered an early check in at £10 per person, but took the option of storing our luggage at the hotel free of charge until the 3p.m. check in time. We arrived at 11:50 a.m. and offered an early check in at £10 per person, but took the option of storing our luggage at the hotel free of charge until the 3p.m. check in time. That gave us 3 hours of walking and exploring the local area, including the wonderful Holland Park about 15 minutes walk away. The staff were extremely good, friendly, informative without the obvious on-selling but did tell us about breakfasts and promoted the bar and restaurant. Offered room cleaning and new towels on request as we were staying more than 1 night. Room 117 is small and basic with a desk and one chair under the TV so not great for viewing, you have to use the bed. There is no Sky TV, it's Freeview, so limited channels. As an early riser I heard the barista fire up as this room seems to be over the kitchen, as well as hearing every stomp and shower usage from the room above, so if you're a light sleeper ask for another room. If you plan on a busy daytime in London, 10 mins walk from Earl's Court Underground, and just need somewhere to kip, then this would meet your needs.
