“Another great visit to this wonderful Bed & Breakfast.”
We first visited La Gaffe in May and wanted to return here after such an impressive first visit. We arranged to stay in December and this time had a deluxe double room which was great - had everything we needed and the bathroom was huge. We first visited La Gaffe in May and wanted to return here after such an impressive first visit. We arranged to stay in December and this time had a deluxe double room which was great - had everything we needed and the bathroom was huge. We had arranged to leave our luggage here on the day of arrival before check in which was a great help - Gieuseppe was very accommodating when we arrived late morning. When we checked in, Alex was friendly and helpful and also carried some of our bags to the room which was a great help. The bed was comfy and we both slept well. In the morning, we were greeted by Gieuseppe, who was so friendly and Decca, who was just lovely. She made my daughter an amazing hot chocolate which she loved. That evening we had drinks in the bar - again served by Alex who is a pleasure to talk to. Last morning of our stay, we were greeted by Lorenzo who is just an amazing host - he constantly goes the extra mile to help guests - he made me a fantastic mocha which was lovely. Breakfast has a good choice for a continental breakfast and the dining room is a lovely place to sit with beautiful architecture. We were sorry to leave - but hope to be back soon. Lorenzo, Decca, Alex and Gieuseppe are an amazing team and I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.

“The best hotel ever”
Travel all the world and stay in luxury hotels but the feeling of the family HOTEL they take care of. Everything is the best hotel that ever stay. Excellent location very close to the tube and best restaurants and pubs. excellent breakfast and Also, they arrange a taxi the airport

“Family feel, comfortable- loved our stay!”
Loved La Gaffe! Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, big breakfast! Location was perfect for touring London. We felt that Giuseppe and Lorenzo were so vested in ensuring we had a nice stay. The rooms were well equipped, comfortable beds. We will be back!

“Happy memories of my stay....”
In the past, I've stayed at hotels and B&Bs from Mayfair to Bloomsbury and found something to enjoy in all of them. In the past, I've stayed at hotels and B&Bs from Mayfair to Bloomsbury and found something to enjoy in all of them. Then I felt the pull of Hampstead, found La Gaffe, and hoped my choice would be the right one. I couldn't be happier! Lorenzo, and his wonderful staff, create a home away from home atmosphere that is so important when travelling, but especially, as I was, on my own. The hotel is clean, the breakfast room is cosy (Lorenzo has made me a fan of latte), the towels are lovely and the bed comfortable. The hotel is only a few minutes from the tube station and High Street making everything you could need very handy. Best of all, the Heath is barely five minutes away for nature walks or spotting English robins...I saw several! And do look into using the Hampstead Heath overground station; a revelation on this trip and less crowded than the tube. Thank you for a wonderful stay; I'll be back!

“Convenient, comfy, and friendly ”

Stayed here for a solo sightseeing trip to our precious capital, another story altogether. First the place is so convenient 5 mins walk to underground brilliant! Hampstead is nice and has plenty of shops and restaurants, and the hotel is a good base for that. It's all uphill from the ststion be aware of that. My room was clean and comfy. Good tv WiFi great , Lorenzo is a charming man and is there to greet you in the morning for your continental breakfast, and there is a lovely lady there as well didn't get her name, rude on my part The bathroom lovely spacious has little washing bits in the cabinet above the sink, and the towels fit nicely. So, the slight downside is the place could do with a lick of paint, and the stairs to the rooms are just old, creaky, and difficult to manoeuvre with a large case , but don't let that put you off it's a great convenient place to explore the city and for the price well worth the money, andci didn't want to be down on anything as they were all really lovely but I have to be honest. I hope this helps others, and if I'm back down there again, I'll definitely stay there.
