Finding central London self catering accommodation with a lift, a bathtub rather than just a shower, with the option of onsite parking is quite a tall order! However the Kings Wardrobe satisfied on all counts. The apartment was very well equipped including dishwasher and washing machine and scrupulously clean. The front desk is manned 24/7 and the staff were very helpful. You can come and go from the car park at any time. Short walk to St Paul's cathedral and other city sites. Definitely highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom apartment for 2.5 weeks in October and were delighted to have selected this apartment-hotel in a very quiet courtyard away from busy streets. The location is excellent in many regards: close to frequent bus routes as well as to Blackfriars and St.Paul's tube stations as well as Blackfriars pier (although that service is generally only during rush hours); within walking distance of many interesting places such as St. Paul's Cathedral, the Museum of London, the Tate Modern (via the Millenium bridge), etc.; and close to various small grocery stores, restaurants, pubs, and at least one excellent bakery (that was all we needed). The suite was very nicely designed and equipped, with stylish modern furniture and appliances, and it was perfectly appointed for us with all the appliances we might need, so we usually cooked "at home" and were able to do laundry as well. Although we did use the dryer on occasion, we particularly appreciated having a drying rack in addition, which was really an unexpected luxury. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and made us feel very welcome. As one other traveller has mentioned, and despite what you may be told by the official Bridge Street reservation service, the best way to get there from Heathrow is to change at Hammersmith from the Piccadilly line to the District line and alight at Blackfriars. That way, there are absolutely no stairs to negotiate and the exit and walk from Blackfriars are very quick and easy. Since stairs are a bit of a problem for us, we had requested accommodation close to an elevator and that was exactly what we were given. My understanding is that some units are accessible only by stairs, so if that is an issue, it's best to enquire in advance. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in London.

Great location within 1 to 2 miles of so many attractions for tourists but great bustling neighborhood to be in when not touring. Great staff, very helpful and accommodating. My only suggestion is they should have a bit of a detailed direction to entry as it is many one way streets and limited access roads in the city so it was hard to find via car. Once we found it...no problem but we were not familiar with the layout so we had trouble finding it. We had an issue with our washer and the staff was prompt at fixing the situation and going above and beyond to help. Spacious and clean. Great little courtyard as well. Good place to stay for proximity and comfort.
