Everything was fantastic experience for us, well worth the money we paid. Room is good decent size and clean, staffs are very helpful. We stored our luggage before check in and after check our , person in the desk repaired my glasses lost arm screw , it is a basic job but it worked for time being. “clean and tidy, does the job for the budget-minded traveler”

An excellent spot for the budget-minded traveler. Great housekeeping crew, and the breakfast crew works hard. I esp. appreciated the pegs on the wall (for doing laundry or hanging a wet jacket). Could you please add Heart Radio and Magic Radio to the radio choices? The hotel is a great location… more

An excellent spot for the budget-minded traveler. Great housekeeping crew, and the breakfast crew works hard. I esp. appreciated the pegs on the wall (for doing laundry or hanging a wet jacket). Could you please add Heart Radio and Magic Radio to the radio choices? The hotel is a great location, with stores, restaurants, and banks near by, as well as a short walk to the tube stop. My biggest complaint: the crowded breakfast room. Could the management provide placards on the tables that say "I'm dining/I'm finished". Sometimes the crew swept away my plates while I was off getting more food. The coffee was so-so. I'll probably stay at an HI Express again.

1. Check in and Check out was smooth. 2. Room were clean and decent by European standards. (Basic compared to 2 star hotels in Asia. 3. House keeping was basic. o concierge practically. 4. Sleep quality was poor as the mattresses sunk in the middle. (We had same problem with Holiday Inn Stirling. 5. Both me and my wife could not figure how the thermostat for Air conditioning works. 6. The whether was kind decently cold but ironically but there was hardly any ventilation. So, with blanket one would feel suffocated and without it cold. 7. For little ventilation we kind of opened the small solitary window a bit but then it meant living with the noise of running train close by all-night. 8. Breakfast was typical standard European menu. Mostly cold. Hash Browns were often soggy. One may get scrambled eggs but no Omelettes, The only warm stuff was beaked beans and coffee. No decent cut fruits. No cheese. Apparently the same as in Holiday Inn Express Stirling and same very single day. I guess I am being a bit harsh being from India where most 3 stars hotel are usually better than most 4 stars in Europe.

Nice hotel. Easy access from train station and only 10 minutes walk from eventim apollo. The room was small but comfortable. Tasty breakfast, but you need to be careful as restaurant was very crowded, and people dont adhere to the one way system, so my wife was very nearly pushed over but a man who barged in through the exit. Coffee was not the best we've had so couldn't drink it all. Although the railway line was virtually outside the window, there's excellent sound proofing, so we hardly heard them when the window was closed. The shower in our room took ages to warm up but was a decent size, so you don't feel claustrophobic in there. Staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome.
