Very pleased with this stay! We arrived very early, around 1:00 pm, and were lucky to find the room ready so we were able to check in at once. Front desk staff was generally friendly and helpful the whole time we were there. There is no dedicated bellman, though one of the desk employees was often in the small lobby. The lobby door is secured by your room key, as is the elevator. We have not stayed in an aparthotel previously and we found we really like having a kitchenette - I love being able to make a first fresh cup of tea and piece of toast before I must dress for the public. The room was a good size for London, somewhat L-shaped, such that someone standing at the door would not see the bed, with a sofa and coffee table and a small table and two chairs. The kitchenette was clean and well stocked with just enough dishware and pots in the little kitchenette for two, plus an electric kettle, induction stovetop, and toaster. A built-in Euro-style combo washer-dryer under the counter meant we could pack a little lighter, and use the extra space to bring home our purchases. Clothes come out still somewhat damp but there is a rack to finish them while you're out of the room - it worked out well. There is a cafe and bar but we never visited and didn't miss it. Decor is modern and comfortable, and the bed was lovely. Extra pillows were in the closet, as was a small safe. Rooms are made up every other day, and as there is always just two of everything, you may want to request extra bath towels, as we did. L'Occitane bath products were a welcome surprise. The bathroom was small but serviceable. There was a towel warmer and a walk-in shower. My husband says there was a mildew odor in the shower which persisted after the room was made up, but I didn't notice this. The location in Kensington is perfect, two blocks walk in one direction from the Gloucester Road tube station, a Waitrose market for groceries, and a Boots drugstore, and Cromwell Road has many hotels. Walk a block in the other direction for the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum. The V&A in particular is a world-class museum and much less crowded than the British Museum, well worth a visit. The neighborhood has a good selection of eateries. We give the property an "very good" rating rather than "excellent" due to minor inconveniences (the shower smell, or the need to request extra towels, and once, toilet tissue). These small things didn't really bother us, but we note them for the sake of completeness. In our opinion these were made up by the overall comfort of the room - and the convenience of a kitchenette. I am a convert; I will want one everywhere, now. On the plus side, when the room was made up one day, our damp clothes were found in the washer and hung out for us, saving us from having to re-wash them, for which we were gratefully surprised. Overall we can't fault this property, and we'd gladly stay there again.

I stayed at Fraser Suites Queens Gate for three nights. I had to depart hotel early due to family emergency. I stayed in two different room types and had opportunity to view other rooms. I am a corporate meeting planner so I’ve seen a lot of hotels and rooms. The rooms are lovely. All rooms are neutral with pop if color. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. They are all a bit different since the building itself is older. My understanding is they have all been recently renovated. Regarding negative comments about staff. I had good experience with exception of one at front desk. Staff seems to be all new and eager to help(with the exception of the one mentioned but my guess is she has been at hotel for awhile. Hoping to return to hotel in the future.
