The top reviews of Dylan Apartments Earls Court are: Let me start this review by saying, I had a great deal with this hotel so I am not going to complain and look for things that I would normally find in a 5-star property. But dear oh dear, I wish they knew about the concept of lifts! I stayed two different nights in this place and I chose it mainly for its location which is great. Within reasonable walking distance to and from the Earl's Court underground station - it was ideal for what I needed to do in the area. The staff I've dealt with is very friendly. You can tell though she's been working so much (maybe she was on housekeeping duties too) but nonetheless, she was very pleasant when she checked me in. The first room I got was located on the topmost floor (4th) which is a bit of a trek especially if you have luggages to carry with you and not to mention they have those weird, steep, spiral, wooden staircases. Great!! What a treat lol The room itself is very basic but it does the job. It has a fan (yahoo!) And the bed is comfy. Even my second room was just as good in terms of comfort. First one had a little sink cooker in it and the second one has a microwave which was very handy. For my second visit, I had to request for a ground floor room as I cannot endure yet another round of trekking along their crazy steps. The same female receptionist granted my request and I am very happy! WiFi is ok but can be temperamental especially if you're on the topmost floor. Noise is tolerable. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night - seems like a false alarm, no evacuation, notification or apology given. I was awake so it didn'tl bother me but what really happened, I have no clue. GOOD POINTS: - friendly receptionist, always a pleasure to deal with - location is spot on if you want to be close to the underground station and other amenities - comfy bed and basic room that does the job ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: - lift please... have mercy on us! - a white light might be better than the good old yellowish florescent bulbs - basic toiletries will be good, even if its just a simple body wash .

“Climbing up narrow stairs... Nobody said it was easy!”

Let me start this review by saying, I had a great deal with this hotel so I am not going to complain and look for things that I would normally find in a 5-star property.
