The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the room was in a basement and with a strong musty smell and for security reason you couldn’t leave the window open at night. Would stay again but in a different room.

This hotel was perfect for what I needed. When booking a hotel in London, in the budget friendly category that I can afford, there are a few criteria that are important - 1. Transport: being close to a central hub for transport and on the Piccadilly line so the trip from & to Heathrow was trouble free. 2. Cleanliness: wonderful sheets and clean room and newly renovated bathroom. A clean bathroom, however small (and it was small) is definitely important. Added bonus - kettle in the room & very nice staff. All of the above were perfect! A few niggles - I was in a single room on the third floor and there is no lift. Soooooo that was a strain. Note to self - check what floor the room is booked on in future! The room was small - but that is expected in London. I would definitely book again. Excellent area.

I rate this hotel a 6/10. We paid $603.60NZD for a 2 night stay. Prices for hotels in London are pretty expensive so this was one of the cheapest we could find. This hotel is located a minute walk from St Pancras/Kings Cross Station. So very handy when using the tube frequently. The rooms are very small, so space in the hotel can be quite cramped, especially the bathroom! Other than that the room was tidy and it had a fan which we used majority of the time because it was hot and the hotel is close by to fast food outlets such as McDonalds, Burger King, Five Guys and KFC. They also have luggage storage onsite if you need somewhere to store your bags for the day before checking in or after checking out.
