“Great value for money”
We stayed here to visit the Military Tattoo. The accommodation cost around half the price of nearby budget hotels and was exceptional value. “Cheap and Cheerful”

“Nice stay at a convenient location”
I wasn't quite sure of the room price since our room was booked thru. the Edinburgh international festival when hotel rooms were in high demand. “Great place but the elevators do not work most of the time.”
The place is calm and clean. The staff is kind and helpful. But the elevators (the lifts as they say in Scotland) do not work most of the time. The modern is in an excellent location, at the foot of Arthur's Seat, part of the reason for picking it at a busy time of year when our ususal hotel was not available.
