“great, pleasant stay!”
Professional, friendly staff, lovely breakfast in the real beautiful Victorian stile hotel. “Beautiful place”
Beautiful hotel with large staircase clad in tartan carpet, room was clean and spacious with tea, coffee making facilities, friendly staff and overall a fantastic stay, close to the heart of Edinburgh, slight mold in shower but didn’t bother us,

“Second visit”
Location is perfect and convenient for travel to and from the airport. Service was excellent. And very welcoming. Room was very clean and well appointed. A good selection of whisky's in the bar too. This was my second visit to the hotel, and I expect to be back.

“Convenient to the city, warm, comfortable, friendly”
The beds were comfortable the host was welcoming and friendly and the continental breakfast was the right start to our day. The location was an easy walk to a hop on hop off bus pick up location which was important for us as there is little parking in the city for sightseeing.

“Good but it could have been better”
The building is beautiful and the staff is very polite and nice. The rooms were not what we expected. They need some maintenance. The worst was the window that didn't close completely and it was cold at night since the weather was not very good.
