“Great stay for Xmas market”
Clean comfortable bedroom helpful staff with a comfortable bed. I’m very picky and booked our stay with some trepidation after reading the reviews but we really enjoyed our stay. Great location really handy bus stop outside the hotel straight into the city centre.

“Great break in York”
Just finished a 3 night stay in this hotel. Was apprehensive about staying due to bad reviews so I contacted the hotel to voice my concerns and the manager assured me all was ok. “Lovely hotel, ghastly dinner.”
The room was perfect and had everything we could wish. Very comfortable and very clean. We were there for an event which was excellent. “Disappointed”
Room was cold, bathroom especially so and decor throughout was very tired. Huge chunks of masonry missing from wall outside our room and skylight in corridor below covered with a very tatty makeshift wooden mishmash. “Stay in the city not here. Overpriced not the best quality.”
This is not a quality hotel it’s premier inn with a small pool. Room wasn’t ready on checkin. Bathroom needs upgrading paintwork shoddy on doors and sealants coming off on sink.
