The staff were excellent at the Churchill Hotel. The location was fantastic. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The restaurant had a nice view with large windows. “Could be better”
This is a busy tourist hotel with high turnover. Location however is very good. Staff a bit stretched at times. Rooms not the cleanest, with thin walls. Bar and restaurant good enough. Don't go for your champagne and chocolates extra - cheap fizz substituted for pol roger.

“Avoid The Churchill Hotel York if you can.”
Hotel very dark and like a rabbit warren, Car park extremely difficult to enter (tiny Gate) and poorly laid out, and charge £18/night!! Expensive for what it is. Breakfast good. Bedroom small but okay. Bathroom clean but very small. Bed Comfortable and good pillows. Sorry I will NOT return.
