“Staff party”
Had a staff party here for the first time and what an outstanding venue the place was, beautiful decor atmosphere was amazing and food was warming for everyone. It not easy pulling that off for around 40 guests but it was an unforgettable time

“Great parking options. Good quality hotel”
Stayed for 1 night with work. This is my first stay at the Novotel in York. It’s easy to park your own car on site ( which is good in York). The hotel was clean and the room was a good size. “Don’t buy the soup !”
Rooms are good. Fairly close to the centre of York. Large tv. Breakfast has been good every time I’ve been here. My main problem was I ordered the soup and the bread was rock hard. I mean so hard that I couldn’t physically tear it apart. Surely they could have fresh bread delivered daily ?

“Mediocre”
Entrance/ bar v welcoming- the same can’t be said for the staff. Swimming pool full of kids - perhaps kids times - so stayed about 15 minutes; room was basic - single toilet with no fan (!) sofa bed didn’t have a mattress topper and the sheet was “knotted” to fit……
