“Great hotel!”
The hotel is in a fantastic location. The decor and gardens are beautiful and the building has a lot of character, which we loved! The staff were very helpful and there was plenty of parking on site. We would definitely book to stay at this hotel again!

“Great location”
Excellent location with the added bonus of parking. Just a few minutes walk to city centre and The Shambles. Lovely clean, comfortable room with coffee machine, robes, fridge etc. Reasonable price for everything you're getting and cheaper than others in similar proximity to centre.

First time staying here at The Middletons Hotel. Greeted by a lovely lady on Reception called Laura. We parked easily in the Hotel Car Park. This is very important to us. “Fantastic hotel in the heart of York.”
We stayed here on Saturday as a group. What a beautiful hotel, inside and out, well managed and in a fantastic location, in a quiter street with everything York has to offer within 5-10 mins walk. Would have got 5 stars but for the pillows, way too soft for my liking, couldn't get to sleep. A few o… more

“Good location”
This is a large property with lovely well kept grounds. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is well located near the centre of York. Breakfast was OK. The hotel sent out too many emails beforehand encouraging bookings in the dining room.
