“Great location and superb breakfast”
Great location and very helpful/friendly staff. There are lots of restaurants nearby and the city centre a short walk away. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The English breakfast was wonderful. Will certainly be using again if we are visiting York.

“Friendly and clean”
Beds a little uncomfortable need replaced . Very friendly staff welcoming and friendly. Breakfast very good great choice . Very clean bedding and modern bathroom . Only downside was bed . On but route to York but could walk if able . Map given up n arrival to this helped a lot

“Lovely comfy beds!”
We stayed here one night and the room was nice. I was glad that the lady didn’t charge me for parking as it did say so on the website but they now do charge £10 a night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Note that if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you as it’s quite… more

Lovely and quaint. Staff fantastic and friendly. Lovely breakfast. Comfy beds and pillows. Spacious room, furniture not matching and some not in keeping with the traditional style (80s style wall lights and pine furniture spoil the style). Stylish and spacious bathroom, good size shower.
