“Lovely to be back”
Lovely to be back in my favourite hotel in York. A warm welcome. Brilliant breakfasts! Chef Andrew is always cheerful and breakfasts are to order and always delicious. A great room in the annexe this time. Nicely decorated for Christmas in the sitting room. Amelia and Zoe very attentive and helpful… more

“Great location and superb breakfast”
Great location and very helpful/friendly staff. There are lots of restaurants nearby and the city centre a short walk away. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The English breakfast was wonderful. Will certainly be using again if we are visiting York.

“Friendly and clean”
Beds a little uncomfortable need replaced . Very friendly staff welcoming and friendly. Breakfast very good great choice . Very clean bedding and modern bathroom . Only downside was bed . On but route to York but could walk if able . Map given up n arrival to this helped a lot

Lovely and quaint. Staff fantastic and friendly. Lovely breakfast. Comfy beds and pillows.
