“Wimbledon versus Euros”
Just returned from a night at Double Tree York and couldn't fault it, especially the staff. We arrived early on Euros final day and my wife wanted to watch the Wimbledon final. We were set up with a function room, T.V, settee and drinks (not complimentary) . Couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

“Lovely clean comfortable hotel”
Lovely hotel, friendly staff and very comfortable clean rooms. We stayed for 3 nights and was extremely happy with our whole experience. The rooms were cleaned every day with clean towels and tea & coffee topped up also. The breakfast was very good with full English and continental lots to choose... more

“Ok, but noisy”
Clean and comfortable rooms, well located just outside the city wall, within easy walking distance of The Shambles and a heap of restaurants and bars. Would be given another star, but hotel deliveries started well before 0600 with lot of crashing and banging in the driveway behind the rooms.
