“A lovely stay”
What a wonderful place. A lovely hotel that welcomed us and our dogs. Staff were helpful and friendly. Everything was so clean and smelling lovely. “Nice hotel and good value”
Very nice room 124 , after reading the negative reviews we were apprehensive . The staff were pleasant ,very nice room with heating/ air con . Breakfast was plentiful .10 mins walk to shops and minster . Overall a very nice weekend would definitely return when visiting York

“Old and dated room”
We booked an overnight couples stay in December for an event at York Marina, we were given a room at the back of the hotel which was old and dated, it had a musty smell, the bed was huge and comfortable and a large bathroom which was very dimly lit, no where to sit and do your hair or put make up o… more

“Reasonable value. Nothing spectacular.”
Central location. Modern attractive surroundings. Friendly helpful staff who work at their own moderate pace. Food satisfactory but nothing wonderful. In a City now full of this type of establishment there will be better.,,............
