“Tired stay”
Booked this hotel through Secret Escapes which thought was a good price for York, but was in room 1 by the road outside hotel and had no sleep it was so noisy. I stayed here for one night - close to Theatre@41 - and that was enough. The room was comfortable but had insufficient lighting and the air-conditioning wouldn't work. “Average but passable”
The hotel was clean and tidy and the room spacious with all of the facilities. However its location is not ideal if you want a quiet night, nor will it be restful if you are near a door, lift or the road.
